Emergency braking
2. Handle-push downward to apply brake pressure.
Engine failure during takeoff below V1 (aborted)
Engine failure during takeoff above V1
Engine fire - shutdown
If fire continues for more than 15 seconds:
Engine failure during approach
Cabin / cockpit fire, smoke, or fumes
Roll or yaw axis malfunction
if force continues
Pitch axis malfunction
Stall warning activates
Inadvertent thrust reverser deployment during takeoff below V1
Abort takeoff procedure:
Inadvertent thrust reverser deployment during takeoff above V1
Dee Howard
Inadvertent thrust reverser deployment during takeoff above V1
Aeronca
Cabin altitude exceeds 10,000 feet (emergency descent)
Overspeed recovery - overspeed warning horn activates
Warning: Do not extend the spoilers above Vmo / Mmo due to significant nose-down pitching moment associated with spoiler deployment.
Note: do not apply elevator force until bank angle is reduced to less than 90. A pull elevator force, when the bank angle exceeds 90, will increase the nose down attitude.
If mach airspeed is severe, or if pitch and/or roll attitude is extreme or unknown:
Emergency Evacuation
*If engine fire suspected:
*If no fire suspected:
Immediate airstart
