What is verbal communication? How important is verbal / nonverbal communication ? Define Proxemics, Kinesics, Kinesic slip.

Answer 1

Verbal : Expression through the spoken word. It involves a sender (speaker), receiver (listener), and when complete a process called feedback, creating the communication feedback loop.

Nonverbal : 80% of language that is unspoken

Importance : It is important to verbally communicate with a patient to understand what is wrong with them and also it is really important to watch the patients nonverbal communication while verbally communicating with them because there nonverbal communication can tell the health care worker what the patient isn’t revealing verbally

Definitions : Proxemics : is the study of an individuals concept and use of space

Kinesics : Study of nonverbal communication

Kinesic Slip : Verbal And nonverbal messages do not match

Describe the route of HIV ?

• HIV occurs during a process of Mitosis where the HIV hides behind red blood cells as and as body start to weaken the HIV starts to multiply once you get sick which leads to patient having AIDS
