Letting conscious decisions _

Even traveling or something every few months

regulates a need for gratification, and this can contribute to mood which forms personality if for an extended time

What routines feel best for me?

Helping your mood if you do what you actually say

conscious decisions should run your day to improve your mood, not based on impulse, which also calms our nervous systems

Q

Gist of neural restructuring

A

Changing how you speak to yourself to change your brain and energy

Brain thinks negative emotions associated with event are reality , neural networks firing same negative emotion tied to events and repetition makes us think this is true

  1. awareness of negative thoughts
  2. affirmations, self talk etc. to begin firing a new network each time thought arises, and weakening other network, visualization to produce emotional intensity, your thoughts will align with new emotions that produce new events in quantum fields

Q

Values determine

A

Nature of our problems and quality of lives, and standard we’re using to judge ourselves and others

e.g. we care about some stuff mostly because of being perceived by others and wanting to make legacy after death or something, keeping death in mind at all times to not care about our perceived problems (Stoicism)

Q

Attitude towards past and life

A

don’t need to condone, but release, breath to connect yourself to present, and understand that it doesn’t define you and your future

life does suck sometimes and just accepting the present in that sense and not running away but gaining wisdom while solving problems

free up space to be open to new things when not thinking about what you regret in past and operate from a more sound place

16
Q

Indicator and example of good values

A

created internally, not based in anything external, reality based, socially constructive

e.g. honesty, vulnerability with yourself, releasing care for what others think, charity, humility, helping others, standing up for others, innovating, self respect, creativity

Taking responsibility for all events in life

Uncertainty constant doubt in own beliefs (in the sense of being open to new perspectives)
Contemplation of one’s own mortality
choosing problems wisely (problems out of control suck)

how we interpret what happens to us and how we respond (largely responsible for experiences)

Success comes while acknowledging what you are like, not necessarily trying to perform at all, stop hating yourself for feeling bad

17
Q

When to actually take action

_ of alternatives is often the path to happiness

A

after taking deep breaths, asking if it’s something you can control which will benefit you and taking aligned action

Is this spot true/helpful/leading me where I want to go and most of the time the answer is no

operating in presence of problems is peace and acting in spite of anxiety, might mean you really want and like something

rejection of alternatives

Choosing to reject all, but the best people and experiences in your life is what will open you up to the best returns. You do not get the best returns by trying too many new things and not sticking to anything.

18
Q

Better ways to get inspiration

A

Counting anything as an action progressing you to where you want to be, even one tiny thing will leave you feeling more inspired

Just doing something is metric of success

19
Q

Buddhism meditation

A

preparation for death - only question mattering is what is your legacy

20
Q

Affirmations

A

I am capable of the change required to become the person I want to be, but right now is where I’m meant to be

I recognize the little moments where I know that I am SUCCESSFULLY fighting for my growth

By redirecting and choosing other thoughts I strengthen positive, new neural pathways and weaken other pathways, because I am not defined by my past

Challenge and replace habitual thoughts

21
Q

When reframing thoughts and behaviors such as _, they will become more natural over time

A

breathing deeply and slowly to calm my nervous system will happen over time

breathe and pause before reacting

22
Q

Not immediately finding passion but trying to base work on _

A

finding where skills are applied very well and letting the passion be developed, if going to burn out morally anyway

Not completely ditching your passion but applying in a meaningful way that will also support you

23
Q

What can I do right now?

Feelings of guilt, sadness, loneliness, and restlessness may indicate?

A

Continue trying things that might pique interest outside of what I’ve studied and meeting myself where I am

not trying to waste time perfecting information that I might not feel aligned with anyway

moving away and exploring something different (new place, jobs, hobbies and people) but also taking time to connect to myself, accepting where I am and scheduling time to connect with myself

24
Different avenues to pursue shadow work
Working with subconscious including meditating and maybe journaling and visualization - understanding that life forms to our beliefs about it Moving body Negative self talk - cut that shit out Decluttering Every day needs to have a special moment
25
Thinking of our mind as _
Mind as matter, believing part of vast invisible field of energy containing all possible realities, electrons in this energetic field around us are everywhere and nowhere This (unlike Descartes model) thought couldn't unify physical world (matter) with mind so mind couldn't be studied by science as not normal matter energy is responsive to things like mind
26
Quantum model of subatomic particles, what happens during a certain event?
Small mass, exist so temporarily/transitory in a certain state they're captured as waves of energy electron/likely collection of electrons wave functions collapse, electron at one identifiable position observed as a particle when we perceive it, so we observe this behavior as energy or matter All probabilities/collection of wave functions collapse into a certain event that we observe electron wave functions collapse / stop working observe perhaps by visualizing, we have to direct energy through our thoughts, feelings, talk to produce changes in physical world all of the energy and info, including matter that we observe also emits energetic frequencies at all time Some consciousness is needed for these events to be manifested, by focusing on intentions of our feelings and thoughts
27
Quantum entanglement
28
Attitude of fear and being uncomfortable
actually an interest in something, not apathy not using fear as deterrent or to stop something, often a sign of growth
29
Avoidance technique related to problems ?
distracting self from what you're afraid of and might secretly want to do by creating problems --> for me maybe adding too many tasks and not just using discipline over motivation to attempt hobbies or trying something outside of comfort zone ask yourself what the version of you that you want to be would do? Create evidence of new you using problems as catalysts certain type of routine even like traveling, brief routine sets you up for success, expected outcomes calms your subconscious
30
What does routine do?
Actually helps set our mood,k letting conscious decisions not small moments or our impulses rule the day Experiencing what you already have in new and exciting ways -> finding enjoyment in CT to not train your brain to never be satisfied and reduced fear and more joy when we at least have a routine and have to face unknown honoring your commitments and knowing you can do it also becomes pathway to flow state with regulated body
31
Meta-awareness
Knowing what our brains are actually doing`
32
Murphy Law
the more you fear something happening, the more likely It is to happen
33
Wilson Law
If you prioritize knowledge and intelligence money is more likely to come
