Engine abort start criteria

Answer 3

• no ignition after 15 s
• abnormal noises
• TOT rises abnormally rapidly
• engine hangs (stagnation below Ground IDLE)
• no positive engine or XSMN oil pressure indication upon reaching Ground IDLE
• N2 and Nro needles not matched after reaching Ground IDLE
• N1 or N2 increase beyond limits
• abnormal vibrations during Nro increase
• starter still engaged N1 > 50%
