What happens in Interphase?
Cell growth and DNA replication.
What happens in prophase?
Chromosomes condense and duplicate, centrosomes move to opposite sides, nuclear envelope breaks down.
What happens in metaphase?
Sister chromatids line up, centrosomes on opposite poles, mitotic spindle fibers attach to sister chromatids.
What happens in anaphase?
Sister chromatids separate, spindle fibre shortens.
What happens in telophase?
Cleavage furrow forms, chromosomes lose visibility and nucleoli reappear.
What are the end products of cytokinesis?
2 daughter cells, one centrosome per daughter cell.
