To provide mortuarial and memorial services to deceased AFP personnel and authorized non-military personnel and to maintain LNMB and other military grave sites in support to Army Support Command mission.

- It is the main structure constructed at the center of the cemetery. It is where the visiting dignitaries and government officials lay wreath/s when visiting LNMB.
- in front of the tomb has inscription which reads: “Here lies an unknown soldier whose name is known only to God”
- At the back of tomb signifies three pillars and each star stands for Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao and it has a dimension of 0.40 M in width, 0.80 M in length and 6.80 M in height

HEROES MEMORIAL GATE
- erected on opposite sides of the main entrance road leading to the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier and just near the Heroes Memorial Gate are two 12 foot high black stone walls which bear the words “I do not know the dignity of his birth” “but I do know the glory of his death” quotations from American Gen Douglas MacArthur during his sentimental journey in 1961.
BLACK STONE WALLS
________is a symbolic replacement of a cross in the battlefield for asoldierwho has been killed during war. The purpose of this semblance is to show honor and respect to our dead Heroes.
Rifle Grave Marker

- a towering monument honoring the 112 Filipino officers and men who were members of the Philippine Expeditionary Forces to Korea (PEFTOK) who perished during the Korean War.

KOREAN MEMORIAL PYLON
- dedicated in memory of the men and women who have equally earned their right and freedom who sacrificed their lives to retrieve the country’s lost identity
DEFENDERS OF BATAAAN & CORREGIDOR MEMORIAL PYLON
- This monument was erected by the Veterans Federation of the Philippines as a testimony to the indomitable spirit and bravery of the Filipino guerrillas of World War II who refused to be cowed into submission and carried on the fight for freedom against an enemy with vastly superior arms and under almost insurmountable odds. Their hardship and sufferings, as well as their defeats and victories, are enshrined in this memorial.
PHILIPPINE WORLD WAR II GUERILLA PYLON
- This memorial pylon is proudly dedicated to the members of the Philippine contingents and Philippine Civic Action groups to Vietnam (PHILCON-V and PHILCAG-V). These dedicated men and women served as medical, dental, engineering construction, community and psychological workers, and security complement who offered tremendous sacrifices as they alleviated human sufferings in war-ravaged Vietnam from 1964-1971. Inscribed on the memorial pylon are the words: “To build and not to destroy, to bring the Vietnamese people happiness and not sorrow, to develop goodwill and not hatred.
