20
Q

what does SLAP stand for

A

(Superior Labrum Anterior to Posterior)

21
Q

What is MDI

A

Multidirectional instability, which means that your shoulder is more mobile then ideal. imagine your shoulder joint like a golf ball on a tee, the golf ball sits loose on the tee

22
Q

What is a SLAP lesion

A

a tear in the superior labrum, which is part of the Cartlidge that surrounds the shoulder joint. the biceps tendon attaches to the superior labrum in which this tendon then splits into 2

23
Q

what is frozen shoulder

A

also known as adhesive capsulitis. Frozen shoulder is a condition that affects the shoulder joint ROM. Risk factors include being a women, comorbidity factors, lifestyle factors
