Analogue signals
Analogue signals are continuous variations (of amplitude, frequency, or both)
Digital signals
Digital signals are a series of pulses with two states, a high state and a low state
Transducers
Devices that convert electrical energy into another form, or vice versa
State why a logic gate is connected to a relay, rather than directly to the lamp.
The output current of a logic gate is too small to switch on a lamp. The relay switches on a separate circuit with a secondary power source and the lamp in it. (A secondary power source is required.)
