Or demo competency to cat A or B FI in T/O and landing manoeuvres during day.
Completed a pilot license in aircraft of same type.

61.39 when is BFR used and who doesnt need it and why?
Can’t exercise privileges of license for longer then 24 months from date of issue flight test unless holder has completed a BFR within previous 24 months.
Meets flight crew competency check requirements for part 115, 119, 121, 125, 135
Agricultural currency requirements.

BFR who does it, what’s in it and what’s required 61.39
Conducted by qualified FI (a or b cat). Consists of a flight instruction to review those manoeuvres and procedures applicable to pilot license the holder wishes to exercise.
Is in accordance with standards acceptable to director.
FI whose doing BFR must enter a record in the logbook that they’re satisfied with the following info:
Pilot license type, date done, next due date, and name flight instructor category and FI CAA client number
60 day BFR rule? 61.39
Pilot who successfully completes BFR within 60 days before date on which is required is deemed to have completed BFR on required date.
Manipulation of controls for student pilot 61.101
If you don’t have a current pilot license you can’t manipulate the controls of the AC unless receiving dual flight instruction from an appropriate qualified FI who occupies a pilot seat or is acting as PIC.
May log these hours as dual flight time.
