what’s a virus?
a non-living organisms
only reproduce inside host cells (parasitic) - take over ribosomes and enzymes to make new virus particles.
they have no cells
contain a protein coat and strand of (genetic material) nucleic acids (DNA RNA)
examples of viruses:

-causes discolouration of the leaves of tobacco plants by preventing the formation of chloroplasts and limiting plant growth

-causes flu
HIV virus
