What does CFT entail?

During CFT, I will gain exposure to the general duties of an officer aboard a warship. Primary focus is spending time in each different department to learn how they integrate and work together.

I under go a Fleet Board Assessment, where I am given a fictional emergency I need to respond to using only facilities and personnel embarked at the time. It is built around the ship I am aboard.
