Micro-Zones
Even in a small space, try to create “micro-zones” for different activities. For example, a designated corner for studying, a mat for exercise, a specific bin for Quentin’s toys.
Vertical Storage
Maximize vertical space with shelves, over-the-door organizers, and rolling carts (as on your wishlist).
Declutter Ruthlessly
Regularly go through belongings and discard or donate anything not essential or frequently used. Less stuff means less to organize and clean, and less visual clutter which can be helpful for ADHD.
Sensory Adjustments
Use headphones for noise cancellation, dim lighting, or a small fan for white noise to create a more calming sensory environment when possible.
