When do we use Present Perfect with other Present tenses?

1. With report and comment words (to reckon, to suppose,…)
2. With the phrase: This is, That is the first time, That is the second time, This is the first time, only, time, …
3. Event is unusual or unique with words like: ever or never, superlative words
4. When commenting on the present results of something in the past (usually with appear, sound, seem,…)

I (reckon) Gloria (hold up) in traffic.

Do you (suppose) they (forget) they are meant to be here?

Answer 2

I reckon Gloria has been held up in traffic.

(Present perfect with other Present tenses because of comment/report).

Do you suppose they have forgotten they are meant to be here.

(Present perfect with other Present tenses because of comment/report).

Question 3

This is the first time …. late.

It is the only time I ever really angry with him. (have / get)
