• Size it by comparing the splint to the normal leg. The ankle stirrup needs to be a few inches below the ankle in order to make room for the setup.
• Place the board under the leg.
• Put the rubber bar in the infragluteal fold.
• Secure the top strap over the proximal femur.
• Secure the ankle strap over the ankle.
• Pull to reduce the leg.
• Secure the rest of the femur straps.
