• Hyperkalemia drugs = Spirnolactone, Heparins, ACE inhibitors, NSAIDs, Tacromilus
• Hypokalemia drugs = BTS, bendroflumethiaze, theophylline and salbutamol.
• Micorgram drugs = Naloxone, Nitrates Levothyroxine, Tamulosin, digoxin, colchicine, salbutamol, folic acid
• 1% = 1g in 100ml
• Avoid flouroquinolones, aminoglycosides and macrolides in myasthenia patients (FAM).
• Avoid levofloxacin for epilepsy
• Tamoxifen can increase risk of endometrial cancer (unopposed oestrogen)
• Finasteride decreases levels of PSA and should not be used in obstructive uropathy.
