Recall the actions to take when hearing the distress signal.
Your inside a premises and there are other teams in the same building as you and you can hear the ADSU distress signal sounding. What are the actions of your team and what does the team leader need to consider?

- Contact ECO and inform them of the distress signal.
- Team leader should gauge check to determine if sufficient air reserve exits within the team to investigate the alarm and give assistance.
- Assistance to the distress team should take precedence over any existing task, unless activities are risk critical and may compromise the safety of other BA wearers.
- ECO are too be informed of your intentions.
- Follow the revised/new brief issued by ECO.
- Should not take any unnecessary risks without a means to retrace their steps.
