O = anterior inferior surface of iliac spine
I = quadricep tendon (connects to patellar tendon onto tibial tuberosity)

Vastus lateralis-
O = greater trochanter, intertrochanteric line, linea aspera
I = quadricep tendon

Vastus medialis-
O = medial side of femur;
I = quadricep tendon

Vastus intermedius- ( deepest quad muscle)
O = anterolateral femur
I = quadricep tendon
