What is a Final Account ?

A

A final account is an agreed price between a contractor and employer for works undertaken.

It often includes for variations, any commercial settlements & LADS.

It is often negotiated.

How do you reconstruct a building ?

A

I would measure the floor plans using PDF Measure or AutoCAD.

  • Use SPONS to price items I have listed from site survey
  • Apply location factor & TPI to reflect purchase date
  • Use BCIS to check my m2 rate against the average.

What is BCIS ?

A

BCIS is tool used to find a benchmark for the average price per m2 for asset types or structural categories

You can also find TPI’s on BCIS.
