Random Variables
Two categories of random variables:
Discrete and Continous
Type of random variables takes on countable number of distinct values which are whole numbers (counts)
Distinct Random Variables
Types of random variables that assumes an infinite number of possible values including the decimals between two counting numbers (measurements)
Continous Random Variables
It is a descriptive measure of a population
Parameter
It is a number which describes a sample
Statistics
It can be a mean, median, mode, range, standard deviation, or variance.
