Q

A note on adjectives

A

An adjective describes a noun. For example “liberi patrem punivit = “The angry children punished the father” . We can tell “irati” agrees with “liberi” because the have the same ending. However, sometimes that is not the case. for example”laetus venus multos homines amavit” = “Happy Venus loved many humans”. Have the endings are not the same so we have to match nouns and adjectives with the same case and gender.
