• Corporate: An experience which happens simultaneously to a number of people, such as Toronto Blessings
• Mystical: direct union/joining with God. Sufis.
• Revelatory: Experients receive new information that is beyond rationality and seen as a gift. There are 2 types;
  Propositional; Instruction has been given, a clear message. 10 Commandments.
  Non-propositional; Message is not specific. Buddha’s enlightenment.
• Conversion: Position on God is changed. Directly through an experience such as a vision, causes sudden change. Indirectly is typically gradual, through learning - converting from one religion to another
