REMOVED MANUALLY using specially constructed custodian bollard wrench and lift bar.

• wrench assigneD TO E-15 and another available at their quarters for relocators
• bollard wrench is slightly smaller than custodian hydrant wrench

• place custodian wrench over custodian lock and unscrew locking rod
• lift locking rod from stainless steel sleeve
• lift stainless steel sleeve from fire bollard pipe
• place lifting bar through holes of fire bollard pipe or USTE HALLIGAN IN PLACE OF LIFTING BAR, position member on each side of lifting bar and lift bollard pipe until it clears casing weldment (do not leave removed items unattended)

KEY ISSUED TO FIRST DUE UNITS AT DIRECTION OF PTSU

-consists of solid post bollards, a control box, strobe light and loop detector zones (prevent bollard from moving if object is on top )

• in case of power failure, bollard is equipped with batter backup allows for 10 cycles of rasing and lowering
• NO manual override
• two keys inside CONTROL BOX..TOP ONE FOR FDNY EMERGENCY USE/bottom for DOT use only

Operation of keys…

• unlock control box door
• use key marked “RB” AND TURN COUNTER CLOCKWISE
• DEPRESS BUTTON and use handle to open door (control box is spring loaded and won’t remain open)

-insert key marked “EM “ into upper key switch and turn key to emergency position to lower bollards
bollards will lower and strobe will flash continuously

While operating bollards, member must always be assigned to control box, throughout operation..

• key is NOT REMOVABLE IN EMERGENCY POSITION , KEYS MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED
• there is a “tamper” , if control box door is open and key is not placed in key switch in 30 seconds , alarm will sound (not trasnmitted to DOT CENTER)..this will cut power automatically..

to reset..insert key and turn to RESET (key will not remain in reset, spring back to norm )

RAISE BOLLARDS, …turn key to NORM, alarm sounds and strobe flash, 10 seconds and bollards begin to rise

-TAMPER MODE (NO 10 SECOND WARNING , BOLLARDS WILL RISE)
LOST/STOLEN KEY, NOTIFY PTSU (LOST PROPERTY AND POLICE REPORT REQUIRED)
