How to calculate density of regular objects

• first determine the mass using a balance
• to work out volume of the cubes we use a ruler to measure the length of the side = Lethe volume = length of side ,got both now

How to calculate irregular objects

Answer 2

• it’s called displacement
• find the mass of the objects using a balance
• fill eureka can with water (has a spout so water can flow out of can)
  -place object into water causing water to be displaced and flow out of the can through the sprout
• measure the volume that was displaced using a measuring cylinder which will be the same volume of the object
• now know both mass and volume so can calculate
