Considerations
Deception, what is it and why is it a problem?
Deception typically revolves around giving participants info that could change the way they involve themselves in the research.
Why is that a problem? - Because if participants change the way they are involved or participate in the research then the result may end up being invalid.
Steps in Identify Research
Types of research methods and construct
Convenience Sample
It’s a sample of people that is easy to access.
Random Sample
Participants are chosen in a random way
Stratified Random Sample
Reliability can be achieved in what two ways?
- Test/Retest Reliability
