Human rights
Are a set of norms which are universally recognised and applied to all humans, regardless of sex, nationality, race or any other status. These set of rights include, but are not limited to, the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, and freedom of opinion and expression.
Inequality
Is the unfair situation in which some people have more opportunities, resources, control etc. than other people in a society.
Violence
Violence, in its most literal sense, behaviour involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. Structural violence is another form of violence, which intends to harm people by preventing them from meeting their basic needs.
Environment
The surroundings or conditions which a person interacts with. This can be both physical and social.
Globalisation
Processes which cause change across cultures globally, making people more interconnected and interdependent.
