what is the process of a full SKA for SPA

A

first initial xrays - 25 xrays of skull, spine ribs and limbs to detect any fractures of different ages, occult fractures, pattersn of abuse

then follow up xrays
- 14 days later
- assess fracture healing #

  • 7-11 xrays
  • if patient doesnt attend then contact safeguarding
