School Buses

• are required to stop for school buses loading or unloading students
• (NRS 484B.353) requires a driver to stop at any location for school bus displaying a flashing red signal
• may not attempt to overtake or proceed past school bus until bus driver turned off flashing red lights
• one exception : on divided highways, only required to stop when traveling in same direction as the school bus
