How does tetraplegia/quadriplegia present?
UE + LE - present with sensory and or motor deficits
Paraplegia
both the LE’s have deficits
Hemiplegia
1/2 of spinal cord is damaged
Efferent signaling - CNS
alters awareness, quality of pain, touch, proprioception and movement
Afferent signaling - from brain to periphery
impacts motor control, strength, and coordination
