- Threat zone- All personnel, vehicles and vessels must be classified as either a threat or non-threat before entering this zone within 100 yards
Naval Vessel Protective Zone (NVPZ)
Used to protect USN Vessels at the following.
500 yards- All vessels operate at minimum speed for safe course near USN Vessel
100 yards- Permission is required to pass within 100 yards by contacting official patrol using VHF channel 16 and follow their directions
Violations- Considered a felony and punishable by up to 6 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines
