Second business day after step required by claimant complete. A business day means Monday to Friday except for bank holidays, Good Friday, Christmas Day.
What are the two rules for serving documents other than the claim form?
First class post: second day after posted, provided it’s a business day, otherwise the next day. All of the methods of service: if serve before 4:30 on a business day equals = that day.
When do the particulars of claim have to be served?
Can be served with the claim form or otherwise within 14 days after service of the claim form. Must be with the CF limitation period i.e. no later than four months of the date that the claim form was issued.
