Engine Overspeed Test

• after last flight of the day, test engine overspeed protection system*
  1. No. 1 and No. 2 ECLs…retard to 80% RRPM
  2. OSPEED TEST switch…lift guard, set switch to ENG 1 and hold until a 5-10% drop in No. 1 engine N1 and a fuel flow decrease is observed. Release switch to OFF, check N1 returns to previous setting
  3. Repeat test for No. 2 engine overspeed protection system
  4. RRPM…100%
