• Take immediate action
• Learn the community I serve
• Get out there and look around – observe the problem
• Use internal resources – NCO/Crime Analyst/ FIO
• Use the NCO officers as this is their community, and they have community connections in place
• Use the auxiliary program to bring awareness to the issue – ask for assistance from public – use pamphlets
• Create a CPI with dedicated officers – enforcement and boots on the ground
  o Provide measurable result to be analyzed
• Engage the Crime Analyst to analyze the incoming data and adjust the plan accordingly
• Use the connections that the FIO has to determine if this is more than just a Divisional problem and for communication with other divisions and units throughout the service.
• Champion success and participation through Social Media (SM) with the NCO’s and Corp Comm
• Use external resources such as the TCHC and the CPLC
  o Spread the word on the initiative and ask for assistance from the community.
  o A plan to work in partnership with the community
• Document/track progress which will assist the service in risk management.
• Reward for compliance and discipline for non-compliance/Community awards
• Keep the UC/OIC/NCO s/sgt in the loop and updated
• Lead by example
