SMCP: Qual o propósito do SMCP?
O SMCP foi compilado com o propósito de assistir a segurança da navegação, padronizar a linguagem nas comunicações para tripulações e profissionais de diversos idiomas e para assistir instituições marítimas de treinamento a atingir os objetivos acima.
O SMCP deve ser usado com frequência e preferencialmente a outras palavras com sentido similar.
