Normal door opening in normal situation

Answer 1

1. “Fasten Seat Belt” sign is switched off.
2. Purser’s PA “Clear to open doors”.
3. Ground personnel will knock on the door window from outside.
4. Both operator & Checker (PUR or SRS) present: Operator to verbally state “Door disarmed”. Checker to verbally state “Door Disarmed, Clear to open door”.

Question 2

Slide Raft Disconnection (Main Deck)

Answer 2

1. Lift the flap.
2. Pull the white release handle.
3. Cut the mooring line.

Question 3

Slide Raft Disconnection (Upper Deck)

Answer 3

1. Open the flap.
2. Remove the slide raft release handle from the pouch.
3. Pull the release handle (pulling force of 40 kgs required).
4. Cut the mooring line.
