A

gradually changing the volume of a piece either to be louder or quitter

How can you use a fade in combination with action?

A

Sounds can also be established at a higher volume, faded to a lower level when the action begins, and brought back up at the end of a scene

gives the impression that the
sound has been played at the same volume throughout.

Echo: Sound boucning of surface

Added: through editing software

indicate: location, create mood (Ei isolation, loneliness) or limit realism

A

Reverb: an effect added to a sound using
editing software or occurring naturally in a performance space

Added: Editing software

Indicate: help the audience understand the location or atmosphere of a performance (one sound will sound different in a cathedral from a classroom)
