New features for SoundWave 2.2
UltraZoom
Support for AB myPilot
Support for Phonak ComPilot
Binaural Voice Stream Technology (DuoPhone, ZoomControl, QuickSync, DirectTouch)
SW 2.2 New Feature:
CPI-3
provides the ability to connect 2 processors to 1 interface for a quicker, more streamlined setup, and is significantly smaller than previous CPI
(CPI-3 Programming Interface)
-use CPI-3 with all recipients programmed in SW
SW 2.2 New Feature:
HiRes Optima Sound Processing
Available for use with:
HiRes Optima- optimize battery life while delivering same great performance as Fidelity 120
- allows Naída CI recipients to utilize zinc-air batteries
SW 2.2 New Feature:
Flex NRI
SW 2.2 New Feature:
Data Logging
Can provide you with info that may help you counsel your recipients or the use of the system and evaluate any programming changes that might need to be made.
SW vs SCLIN
Use SW for all recipients except those who have a C1 and are using a SP other than the Harmony
CPI-3 LEDs
Blue: power to CPI-3
Green: sound processors connected
Electrode Conditioning
Introduces stimulation to all electrode contacts to stabilize impedances prior to programming by introducing a low level of current to remove any protein build-up or air bubbles from the electrode contacts that may have build up over the time they haven’t been stimulated.
SW Programming:
Adjusting T-Levels
Increase T’s: impact soft sounds at output which decreases the EDR
SW Programming:
Sensitivity
Sensitivity provides additional gain or attenuation to the input signal (+/- 10dB)
Decrease sensitivity: decreases audibility of soft sounds (ex, low level background noise)
Increase Sensitivity: increases audibility of soft sounds (if increased too much, can result in more sounds in compression)
Benefit of Wide IDR
Audio Mixing
Gain Adjustments
UltraZoom Mic source
Mic source set to processor mic (or error message will occur)
Data Logging
Only available on Naída CI
Bilateral Initialization
each Naída CI holds programs for both sides; either processor, either ear!
cannot use data logging feature with Bilateral Initialization
Audio-Mixing
determines which sound input is heard by the recipient (i.e., microphone, assistive device, or telecoil)
fast, efficient, and innovative platform for managing AB recipients
SoundWave
Conditioning
Introduction of stimulation to all electrode contacts to stabilize impedances prior to programming
CPI-3
programming interface that supports programming of bilateral recipients
