European standard
Letters CE appear on many products in the European economic area (EEA) and shows the product meets the EU health requirements, complies with EU regulatory requirements, Allows free movement of this product in the EEA
This is NOT specifically made in the EEA but is designed to be sold there
International Standards
independent NGO made up of 163 countries that provide over 20000 standards that are common between countries from food safety to products. Allows for different products in different markets to be directly compared and ensures products meet minimum safety requirements.

The Lion Mark
developed in 1988 by the British toy and hobby association as a symbol of toy safety and quality
Only used by the BTHA its membership includes many international companies and is 95% of all toys sold in the UK
For it to be displayed it must cover all safety matters but also has the highest standards of ethics in advertising
