What is the main purpose of Islamic religion?
In Islam the main purpose of the religion is to show full submission to the
will of Allah.
What does the word Islam and Muslim mean mean?
Islam means submission.
Muslim means one who submits.
What is IBADAH?
Muslims believe that their main goal in life is to live their
life as an act of worship, They believe that Allah is
a God who is loving and giving, and has given all that they have.
Why should Muslims be thankful for Allah?
they believe they should be thankful as Allah chose to create them
so they believe they should worship him for this.
What is TAQWA?
Muslims also believe that once they are fully aware of Allah and the moment they ‘open
their eyes’ and become conscious of Allah, they must obey Allah’s commands in full.
What does TAQWA’s awareness do?
This awareness then alters a Muslims motivations in life, their whole motivation
in life is to live as Allah intended and act in ways which honour and exalt Him.
Should Muslims act kindly just because or because they have too?
someone shouldn’t be kind, or thoughtful, or generous
because ‘it pays’ (obliging others to return the favour), but instead they should be kind, thoughtful and
generous because they are living as Allah intended, being kind to all of His creations

which is the idea of keeping Allah at the forefront of
the mind and always thinking and considering what Allah would want
when they make decisions

What are physical ways of showing submission to Allah?
praying to Him (i.e. performing salat), this is because
when Muslims pray they are prostrating themselves in
front of Allah (meaning they are bowing before Him)
which therefore shows they fully submit to Him.
How can Muslims show submission through others?
Muslims can show submission to Allah
through giving to others and not hoarding gifts from
Him, for instance through giving Zakat.
Where should Allah be in Muslims mind?
Forefront, they should always consider him when making decisions?
