When borrowing money, it may have to be borrowed in US dollar if the countries currency is seen as unstable
How do FDI’s and TNC’s contribute to economic superpowers?
Countries with the largest economies often own many TNC’s and coordinate FDI’s, meaning they can make large profits from host country.
How do trade blocs and IGO’s contribute to political power?
Rise in globalisation=hard for a country to hold much influence alone.
They become memberships of IGO’s or Trade Blocs to exert power.
