What adjustments are required when switching from etravirine to dolutegravir

Increase dolutegravir dose to 50mg bd for the first 14 days

Question 2

What is the oral lead in when switching from efavirenz or etravirine to injectable cabotegravir/ rilpiverine

Answer 2

4 weeks oral lead in comprising;
Oral cabotegravir and high dose oral rilpiverine (50mg) for 2 weeks then 2 weeks standard dosing
Or
Standard dose oral cabotegravir and rilpiverine with two additional NRTI cover (e.g. TDF plus FTC/3TC)

Also recommend standard oral lead in when switching from nevirapine
