Giving clues and prompts, guided, pictures, info from previous lessons, using a first-sound prompt
Giving instructions. How?
Attract attention, be consistent with the language, visual clues, instructions written, demonstrate, break the instructions down

More TT. easier to manage a class, encourages rapport, change in pace, variety

Clear purpose, it fits in the lesson, the seating can be organized, ss are occupied, enough materials
