Tested with the double cantilever beam (DCB) test. Two piano hinges placed on either side of an insert, and applied load “opens” the specimen.

Tested with End Notched Flexure (ENF) Test. Insert is placed inside the laminate. Load is applied to the middle of a simply supported laminate.
