Proof
|<3| + |<4| = 180° …..straight angle
|<1| + |<2| + |<3| = 180° …angles in a triangle
.: |<3| + |<4| = |<1| + |<2| + |<3|
.: |<4| = |<1| + |<2| ….subtract |<3| from both sides
