What is perfect cadence?
It makes the phrase sound final and complete going from chord V to chord I.
What is plagal cadence?
Similar to perfect cadence but goes from chord IV to chord I. It is often heard in older religions music.

This cadence sounds incomplete because it means a phrase ends on chord V.

Begins like a perfect cadence but instead of going to I it causes a surprise by going to chord VI.
