A

A pro-forma invoice is used to request a payment on account. It can not be used as a VAT invoice.

Describe the VAT partial exemption.
This is where a supplier sells a mix of VAT-rated and exempt goods and services, therefore they must calculate how much VAT can be reclaimed on the basis of the amount of VAT-rated goods/services sold. There is an exemption to this - the de minimis rule, see RM.
