pyridoxine (vit B6) may be prescribed alongside for peripheral neuropathy
2 MONTHS
continuation phase:
rifampicin
isoniazid
4 MONTHS
Latent TB - 3 months of rifampicin + isoniazid or 6 months of isoniazid
- pts with latent TB aged 35-65 should be cleared of hepatotoxicity

discolours soft contact lenses and bodily fluids orangey-red
- can’t have contact lenses

isoniazid
peripheral neuropathy - give prophylactic pyridoxine (vit B6)
CYP450 inhibitor
pyrazinamide and ethambutol imp points
pyrazinamide - hepatotoxic
ethambutol - visual impairment + ocular toxicity
