Parallel Circuits
- There are multiple paths for current to flow
- Voltage is constant across each branch of a parallel circuit
- Current splits in inverse proportion to resistance
- The sum of the branch currents will equal the total current
- Total resistance is found by Product/sum or reciprocal method
- Total resistance will be less than the smallest branch resistance

- The algebraic sum of the voltage sources and the voltage drops in a closed circuit must equal zero
