3rd Pillar: Sawn - Mandatory fasting in order to feel compassion for other people (Ramadan - 1 month of mandatory fasting; NO drinking, eating, smoking, sexual relations from dawn to dusk)
4th Pillar: Zakat - Mandatory almsgiving; 2.5% of their surplus wealth over a period of 1 year
5th Pillar: Haji - Mandatory pilgrimage to Mecca, wears special clothes (Ihram) and shows equality between men and women and reminded that in death they leave behind earthly possessions
