1-Before glaciation
the river carves out a V shaped valley because it erodes out the base
2-During glaciation
the ice fills the whole valley
3-Rates of erosion
increase and also it wears away all of the sides of the
valley
4-Valley walls and floors
are eroded wider and deeper
5-When the glacier melts
a river flows again in the valley. It did not cause the
erosion and is called a ‘misfit’ stream.
