AP = 1/near point- 1/far point,
In normal people with no myopia the far point is infinity so it is measured using near point

V is the speed of the light
Theta is the angle the light makes with the imaginary line perpendicular the the plane which it enters

Protanopia: reduced sensitivity to red (lack of L cones)
